Independent research was performed by CDS Consulting (2008).
Results confirm the outstanding success of the Achievia Tutoring
program. The evaluation used data from pre-tests and post-tests
after 40 sessions using the California Achievement Test. Program
effectiveness can be claimed when Normal Curve Equivalent
(NCE) gains approach 5 points. National model programs are
defined by gains of 10-15 NCE's over one school year. Both
our reading and math students achieved gains that were highly
significant.
