designed its program to meet the needs of every individual
student by providing extensive testing that identifies the
student's strengths and weaknesses. We then provide individualized
tutoring using a prescriptive approach that corrects deficiencies
in math and reading. The prescriptive approach provides a
step-by-step process that maximizes achievement in a minimum
amount of time.
The
diagnostic battery of tests for reading identifies strengths
and weaknesses in phonics, sight vocabulary, functional
vocabulary, comprehension, and accelerated skills.
The
diagnostic battery of tests for math identifies strengths
and weaknesses in grade-appropriate math computation and
concepts and applications. Students are also tested in basic
addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts.
