Tutoring®, is an individualized, motivational, diagnostic,
and prescriptive reading and math program designed to support
each student's individual needs. Each student is given a series
of diagnostic tests to determine their specific needs. Skills
tested include phonics, vocabulary, comprehension, math computation,
math concepts and applications, and basic math facts. An individualized
instruction plan is developed that matches each student's
academic needs with specific materials chosen from an extensive
curriculum library. Tutors provide individualized instruction with a
3:1 or 5:1 student:tutor ratio. Students start at a point
that allows them to achieve instant success, leading to an
increase in confidence and self-esteem. As the student progresses
through their individual program, they master skills in which
they are deficient. A unique reward system provides positive reinforcement that helps students
